Instrument Purchase

I am more than happy to advise on the purchase of a musical instrument before you start your keyboard, piano or singing lessons with me. In fact, it is better to talk to your music teacher first prior to looking in a music shop. I also know where you are likely to get the best value for money and will support you within your known budget.

With keyboards, the best do tend to be Yamaha keyboards. There are various models and a beginner should be looking to spend under £200 on a keyboard. The more intermediate keyboard player would need many more features and would be looking to spend under £1000 on a keyboard. This would usually happen after upwards of 4 years and an obvious commitment to further learning. I will support you in this.

With the piano, space can dictate the decision. There are also acoustic and electronic piano instruments to consider when deciding. I will be able to talk you through the various options on the market.
